Extension of deadline for submitting VAT returns

You can extend the deadline for submitting your VAT return conveniently, quickly, and free of charge online using the ePortal service “Settle VAT.” Please note that the electronic procedure is mandatory for requests for deadline extensions (as part of the submission of the return in accordance with Art. 123 VAT Ordinance). Requests for deadline extensions that are not submitted via the corresponding service in the ePortal cannot therefore be approved by the FTA.
