Working at the FTA

The Federal Tax Administration (FTA) is the federal government's centre of expertise for tax matters. Thanks to value added tax, direct federal tax, withholding tax and stamp duty, it is responsible for the majority of federal revenue. Its services include the proper application and enforcement of tax law, the further development of the tax system and involvement in international tax matters.
