As English is not one of Switzerland's official languages, only the most important information concerning the Administration is translated into English. This translation is provided for information purposes only and has no legal force. Please refer to the German, French or Italian original version.
Beware of phishing attempts!
Fraudulent messages (emails, text messages, fake websites) are currently circulating, claiming to be from the FTA and requesting payments via TWINT.
Please note that the FTA never requests payments via TWINT.
Make sure that official websites always end with an address ending in .admin.ch (e.g. https://****.admin.ch).
If in doubt, do not click on any links contained in suspicious messages. We recommend that you log in directly to the official website whose address you know.
Please remain vigilant and take note of this information.
Warning of quishing attacks
The FTA is warning of current quishing attempts. Fraudsters are sending fake QR codes to lure recipients to fraudulent websites and steal personal data.
How to protect yourself:
Only scan trusted QR codes and check the target URL before entering any data.
