The FTA has brought together its main online services on the FTA portal

Berne, 11.05.2026 — The new FTA portal went live today. It combines numerous FTA online services in a single, centralised overview. Authorisations and services are now consolidated in one place and are easier to access.

The following services from ePortal are now available on the FTA portal:
- myFTA with registration and management of businesses and individuals
- Register for VAT
- Submit VAT returns using VAT return pro
- VAT certificates
- Radio and television fee
- Withholding tax and stamp duties for Switzerland

You can access the FTA portal via “Login” on the FTA homepage and in ePortal.

The FTA is gradually migrating the online services to the new FTA portal. With the launch of the FTA portal, however, “VAT return easy” will no longer be available. In future, the tax calculator will no longer be available on ePortal, but can be accessed via the FTA website or at swisstaxcalculator.estv.admin.ch.
