Phishing via email with the sender address “noreply@estv.admin.ch”
Phishing emails are currently in circulation that pretend to contain a binding notification regarding tax assessment.
Please ignore such emails, do not click on any links they contain, do not provide any personal information and delete these emails. Further measures are available at Federal Office for Cyber Security.
Phishing via email with an attached malicious HTML file
The HTML file requests ePortal login details and forwards them to another server. Ignore these emails, do not click on the link and do not enter any personal data on the phishing page.
There are currently supposedly genuine telephone calls, automated computer-generated telephone calls (vishing), that attempt to feign authenticity in order to obtain real data.
How to protect yourself:
- Do not disclose any sensitive data over the phone, even if known personal data about you is mentioned in order to gain your trust
- End the conversation immediately, especially if you are pressured, threatened, or offered remote access
- Ignore automated phone calls (computer-generated voice), especially at unusual times.
- Look up the official phone number yourself and call back.
- Further measures are available at Federal Office for Cybersecurity under “Vishing”
